Muletown Rec Hosts Easter Egg Dive

Columbia, TN – Before making rounds to the homes of Columbia children, the Easter Bunny made a quick stop to leave some eggs in the pool at Muletown Rec. On the eve of Easter Sunday, local children ages 3-12 were treated to an opportunity to dive into the pool and gather as many Easter eggs as possible. The goal of the event was to give local families a fun activity to remember, while also introducing kids, who maybe haven’t built confidence in the water yet, to a positive experience to build upon.

“Getting kids comfortable and confident in the water is so important for their development”, notes Muletown Rec Swim Lesson Director, Catherine Davis. “We were so excited to be able to host this event for our local families, and it was very rewarding to see the kids smiling ear to ear when they got out of the pool with their eggs. Those smiles are what it’s all about.”
